Classes 1-3 Today we discussed soil composition and conservation. We completed notes together in class.
Class 4. We discussed soil composition. Students read pages 427-437 in their books and completed the as you read questions (#1-20) and questions on page 437. Page 437 is homework and due tomorrow. Students also need to make sure they have all the notes from today's blog. All classes completed the critical thinking worksheet. Anything not completed in class today is homework.

Today we completed a tree map about mechanical and chemical weathering. We also watched the Erosion and Weathering Brainpop videos. Lastly, we discussed the answers to the questions from the pages from Tuesday.
Today we continued our learning about physical and chemical weathering. Students read and completed pages 385-395.
Tomorrow is the ELA Milestones test. Please make sure you get a good night's rest and eat a good meal before school. Today we reviewed the vocabulary from Friday. If you were absent, you need make sure you have it since it is a part of your last science notebook. We also took notes on weathering.
Today students worked on Unit 8.1 test corrections. We also began vocabulary for our final unit about soil. We also complete the Unit 8.1 notebook check.
Today we took the Unit 8.1 Rocks and Rock Cycle test. Tomorrow we will have the notebook check for Unit 8.1.
Today we reviewed for the Unit 8 Test tomorrow. Students may get the review guide signed for 5 bonus points on the test. Also we will have a notebook check on Friday. I've attached a picture of the notebook items below the review guide answers.
