Classes 1 & 2 completed the planet chart from Monday.
Classes 3 & 4 went outside for the scale model of the solar system chalk walk. All students from all classes should have their planet charts and solar system chalk walk activity sheet completed at this point. The planet chart is # 7 in the notebook and the chalk walk is to be turned in for a lab grade. Today we went to the Star Lab and looked at planets, stars, galaxies, the moon, and constellations. Students had a worksheet to complete for homework. Unit 1.2 Quiz Friday.
Today we had to be flexible because of the weather. Classes 1 & 2 went outside to create a scale model of the solar system. Classes 3 & 4 completed the planet chart from yesterday. If it was not completed, it should be done for HW tonight.
Today we worked on the planets chart so we can begin comparing and contrasting the planets of our solar system to earth. Quiz tomorrow over Unit 1 material.
Use the link below to complete the virtual lab. We will work on this again tomorrow in class. The lab will be due by the end of the student's class period on Friday. If it was not finished in class, the lab is homework and should be turned in at the beginning of class on Monday.
