In class today, students completed the study guide. We also went over the answers. Unit 1 Test is tomorrow! I've attached the review guide and the answers below.

Today we reviewed for the Unit 1 Test on Friday. Students completed pages 105-110 in the student text. I have also created a link to our textbook online in the section "Online Student Textbook". The directions for accessing the text are also in that section. Students who bring a note from parent/legal guardian stating that he/she is aware of the test on Friday will receive 5 bonus points on the test. The note needs to be brought in on Thursday or Friday. The test will cover Georgia Standards: S6E1. Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information about current scientific views of the universe and how those views evolved. a. Ask questions to determine changes in models of Earth’s position in the solar system, and origins of the universe as evidence that scientific theories change with the addition of new information. b. Develop a model to represent the position of the solar system in the Milky Way galaxy and in the known universe. c. Analyze and interpret data to compare and contrast the planets in our solar system in terms of: size relative to Earth, surface and atmospheric features, relative distance from the sun, and ability to support life. d. Develop and use a model to explain the interaction of gravity and inertia that governs the motion of objects in the solar sys. e. Ask questions to compare and contrast the characteristics, composition, and location of comets, asteroids, and meteoroids.
Today we debriefed from the activity that we did outside on Friday. We also watched Bill Nye: Gravity. Unit 1 Test is Friday.
